Happy 33rd Birthday to Me!

The years seem to be going by quicker and quicker. I really can't believe that I am 33! It is a strange number, and I am often caught saying that I am 32. We celebrated a few days early because Colin started a new class the actual day of my birthday. We went to Benihanas restaurant and had a blast watching the chef. I was lucky enough to also have Terri, Staci, and their families join us.

Baja

We always look forward to Spring Break because that means it is time for Grandchild Week in Baja. Although it is a long drive, once we get to the house we enjoy all that it has to offer. The trip includes spending quality time with family, good food, walks on the beach, quad rides, shell beach, crafts, karaoke, and relaxing. Who could ask for more?

Preschool

I can't believe my little girl is growing up so fast!! Hailey started preschool with the Etiwanda School District, and is attending two days a week, 3 hours each day. We have had to make some adjustments to her attending since before this the earliest we had to be anywhere was 10 a.m. Hailey now goes to bed much earlier and has to wake up at 6:40 a.m. so that she can be at school at 7:45 a.m. Her teacher's name is Mrs. Patricia and Hailey seems to really like her. Her first day she was a little nervous and so was I. Of course I tried to not show how I really felt. Once she walked in she was greeted and quickly forgot about us. Daddy and I had a silent car ride on the way home, and then when I actually was home I broke down. I felt so guilty leaving her and didn't know what to do with the free 3 hours. I felt much better when I picked her up and she had a big smile on her face and said she had tons of fun. We took her out to Denny's to celebrate her big day. The next morning she asked if she could go back, so I guess she really enjoyed it.
