Soccer Star!

Everyone that knows me, knows that soccer is my sport. I was super excited to sign Hailey up for soccer with hopes that she would love the sport and toughen up a bit. I was a little nervous not knowing how she would do and if she would enjoy it. All I have to say is soccer is in her blood! My daughter rocks! She is playing soccer through the city. Her team name is the Galaxy. These pictures are from her first day of practice.

Happy Birthday, Love

I can't believe my baby is 4 years old! I can remember the day she was born so clearly. I can't imagine life without her. She is my best friend. I feel like we have gotten so close this past year while I didn't work. We spent pretty much every minute together and I can say that I am so blessed to be her Mom. She is super loving, caring, and beautiful. I look at her every day and tell her how pretty she is. She is such a help to me and is the most amazing big sister anyone could ever ask for. Happy Birthday Hailey... We love you!

After church we went swimming in the spa. This was Addison's first time. Then Papa and Caleb came over for dinner and to open more presents.

The Big 4

Hailey's birthday fell on a Sunday this year, so we decided to celebrate with family and friends the day before so the kids could play and swim. It turned out perfect. Birthdays in our home don't seem to just be for the day anyway, it is more like three days of celebrating.
To start off celebrating Hailey we went and got our toes done. I think we have created a little diva because she loves going to the nail shop. Our yearly tradition is then to go to Build-a-Bear. Hailey loves stuffed animals and really looks forward to this. This year she picked out the I-Carly Bear. Of course it was perfect because it was purple. Hailey and I were able to go alone on this adventure which was a treat and a first since Addison has been born. Later that evening family and friends came over for a BBQ. The kids were able to play in Hailey's new house and go swimming. Hailey had a blast and was totally spoiled!

1st Day of School 2010-2011

School is in! I can't believe how fast the years have gone by. Hailey is in pre-school and will be attending two days a week, three hours a day for the upcoming school year. She was super excited to have a new class, with a new teacher, and new friends. When we arrived at her room I barley got a good-bye before she walked through the door. I guess I should be happy that she adapts to new situations and doesn't freak out. I am excited for her and all the fun memories she will gain while attending school.

Memories

Addison is 7 weeks and is basically sleeping through the night now. I know, I'm lucky!! She is just like her Mommy and sister, we love to sleep. I am extremely thankful and amazed that she is doing it so early.

One of the benefits of having two girls is being able to hand down clothes. I held on to a bunch of Hailey's outfits and it is so fun being able to dress Addison in them. The blue sailor dress was a gift from Auntie Terri. The first time Hailey wore it she was only a few days old and we went to our cousin Larissa's wedding. The little purple skirt Hailey first wore when she was a couple of weeks old to her Uncle Sol's Birthday party. I love the memories.

Hailey will be starting soccer soon. After we met her coach and received her team shirt we headed out to get her shorts, shin guards, cleats, and a ball. I was so happy buying her these items and hoping she is going to love the sport. We found pink Nike cleats and they are adorable. Hailey was super excited to put on the new outfit and practice in the house.
